It is about reimbursing the cost of utility services to homeowners who sheltered internally displaced persons free of charge in September 2023.
In particular, these funds will be transferred to homeowners in Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Kharkiv, Kherson and Khmelnytskyi regions.
Thus, the compensations for September of this year within the framework of the “Shelter” program have already been fully financed. The total amount of compensation is more than 105 million hryvnias.
It should be noted that the “Shelter” program envisages reimbursement of expenses for communal services in the amount of about 450 hryvnias per month (14.77 hryvnias per day) for free accommodation of one IDP. Such payments are made at the expense of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine.
To take part in this program, you need to register on the “Shelter” website and place an ad about providing temporary housing to internally displaced persons.
