The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a Resolution on extending the period for physical identification by recipients of pension payments at Oschadbank for 3 months. This decision was made at today’s meeting of the Government.
In particular, the deadline for physical checks of persons at Oschadbank has been extended until March 31, 2024. This applies to internally displaced persons who were registered before February 24, 2022.
The document stipulates that the accrual of the pension continues even if the territorial bodies of the Pension Fund of Ukraine receive information from the Savings Bank about the absence of expenditure transactions on the accounts for 6 consecutive months. However, from January 1, 2024, in such cases, pensions will not be transferred to the accounts of their recipients until they undergo physical identification.
Corresponding changes were made to CMU resolutions No. 637 of November 5, 2014 and No. 837 of August 8, 2023.
It should be noted that the project of such regulatory changes was developed based on the results of the work of the Coordination Staff on ensuring the implementation of the rights and freedoms of IDPs.
