Funds in the amount of more than UAH 30.5 million have been transferred to regional budgets. The funds are aimed at covering the costs of utilities consumed by institutions that accommodated internally displaced persons free of charge in August-September 2023.
These are municipal institutions, state educational institutions transferred for funding from local budgets, and jointly owned institutions of territorial communities of the region and district managed by regional and district councils.
It should be noted that the Government allocated these funds from the reserve fund of the state budget. In accordance with the relevant CMU order, the Ministry of Reintegration directed them to local budgets to pay compensation to institutions that sheltered IDPs.
