In the de-occupied territories, Ukrposhta will deliver medicines

The pilot project “Ukrposhta. Pharmacy” is launched in Donetsk and Sumy regions.

There needs to be more pharmacies in the de-occupied and frontline areas. Citizens in these areas can now order and receive medicines through Ukrposhta, which has obtained licenses for retail and electronic retail of medicines.

The Ministry of Reintegration launched the project with the participation of the Ministry of Health.

“People in the de-occupied territories complained about difficulties with medicines. According to the Ministry of Health’s statistics, over 2,000 settlements in regions where military operations have taken place lack pharmacies or have had them destroyed,” said Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.

During an interagency meeting, they discussed the problem of supplying medicines to the de-occupied and frontline areas, where no pharmacies exist. This discussion led to the creating of the “Ukrposhta. Pharmacy” project.

“Thanks to the Ministry of Health and Ukrposhta. This project is an example of a good idea being implemented quickly. You took it and made it happen,” said the Vice Prime Minister.

We plan to expand the project soon. It will include the frontline regions of Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhya, and others.
