This was discussed at a weekly meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for Ensuring the Rights and Freedoms of Internally Displaced Persons chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.
As of today, social protection agencies have received over 90,000 applications from IDPs for the extension of state aid. At this stage, about 66% of them have already been processed, and 34% are in the process of being processed.
It should be noted that in the first period of March, a total of UAH 1.4 billion was allocated for payments to 671 thousand IDPs. Thus, internally displaced persons whose payments were automatically extended from the first day of the month will receive their money in the near future.
This month, the IDPs will also receive their benefits on March 21 and 28.
That is, IDPs who have submitted applications, if approved, will receive payments by the end of this month.
To apply for the extension of state aid for internally displaced persons, please contact the social protection authorities in your community or the Administrative Service Center (ASC) in your district.
