Ukrzaliznytsia’s kitchen train with hot food to support the affected population of the region has been launched in Kharkiv region

After yesterday’s enemy attack, Kharkiv region was partially de-energized. Therefore, at a meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for the mandatory evacuation of the population under martial law chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, it was decided to send a unique Food Train to the region.

Already today, the train’s kitchen team has started working and prepared almost 6,000 meals for the residents of Kharkiv region. They were delivered under the coordination of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration to hospitals, the ICC for internally displaced persons and to those who suffered from yesterday’s hostile shelling.

“Thanks to the cooperation with our partners, we are able to quickly help people in need. The prompt crisis response and deployment of the Ukrzaliznytsia kitchen train, which operates with the support of the Howard Buffett Foundation, is another example of such coordinated work,” the Vice Prime Minister said.
