Employers may receive compensation from the state for labor costs of internally displaced persons hired by employment centers.
The compensation is paid in the amount of actual labor costs of such person, but not more than two minimum wages (UAH 16 thousand).
The duration of such compensation is 6 months for persons who have additional employment guarantees for 12 months, for each odd month. The condition is that the IDPs retain their employment guarantees for a period that exceeds the duration of the payment by two times.
In order to receive such compensation, it is necessary to
- employ registered unemployed IDPs under fixed-term employment contracts;
- submit the necessary documents to the employment center;
- wait for the results of the application review within 10 business days;
- enter into an agreement for compensation, which is paid every odd month during the year.
It is worth noting that the employer may apply for compensation to the employment center within 2 months from the date of employment of the internally displaced persons.
