The launch of the program was announced by the organization SOS Children’s Villages, which is a long-term partner of the Ministry of Reintegration.
The assistance is provided to meet the rental needs of the FTOs.
Its amount depends on the number of children placed in the FTOs and is no more than UAH 22,372 per month. The assistance will be paid until December 2024 inclusive.
Who can receive financial assistance
Foster parents / mothers or foster parents who are IDPs. Priority is given to family caregivers who have left the territories where hostilities are taking place or temporarily occupied (TOT).
One applicant (acting as the legal representative of the children in the FBO and on behalf of the family concerned) can receive this type of financial assistance only once per agreed period of time from an organization or program.
Territory of provision of targeted charitable assistance
The entire territory of Ukraine, except for the TOT, territories of active hostilities (Donetsk, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions) and possible hostilities.
How to register
To participate in the program, applicants need to contact the authorized bodies and services for children at their place of residence. They, in turn, will send an official letter of request to provide such assistance for children in the FSTC, taking into account the above criteria.
