More housing for IDPs to be built in Poltava region

The project “Improving the Housing Conditions of Internally Displaced Persons and Other Persons Affected by the War” is being implemented in Poltava Oblast in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM). This was reported by the Poltava AAA.

As part of its implementation, IOM representatives have selected 18 sites for inspection in the Hadiach, Zinkiv, Kobeliaky, Kremenchuk, Lokhvytsia, Myrhorod, Poltava and Khorol communities.

Based on its results, several plots will be selected for reconstruction or construction from scratch. This will be social and affordable housing that will be owned by the communities.

Currently, we are studying urban planning documentation, analysing the development of social infrastructure and employment prospects for people who will live in these houses. In total, IOM plans to create about 200 apartments in the region.
