Functioning of temporary accommodation places for IDPs discussed at the meeting of the Coordination Centre in Lviv region

A meeting of the Coordination Centre for Civilian Support at the Lviv Regional Military Administration has recently taken place. This was reported on the JMA website.

The results of the audit of temporary accommodation facilities (TAFs), which was conducted to improve the management of the TAF network, were discussed.

During the audit, 155 facilities were checked for compliance with the requirements of CMU Resolution No. 930 of 1 September 2023 “Some issues of the functioning of temporary accommodation for internally displaced persons”. The average compliance rate is 72%.

The main challenge was the adaptation of accommodation for people with reduced mobility. Therefore, partner organisations, including the International Foundation for Health and Environment “Carpathian Region” NEEKA, the Norwegian Refugee Council, and the International Organization for Migration, provided proposals to support the ICC for people with reduced mobility.
