The Ministry of Reintegration has allocated almost UAH 60 million to regional budgets for compensation for the accommodation of IDPs.
The funds are intended to provide an additional subsidy to local budgets to compensate institutions for free accommodation of internally displaced persons in January 2024.

At an interagency meeting chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, the government discussed raising the fuel storage limits for generators in the frontline regions.
Responsible ministries are preparing proposals for such an increase and are also studying the need to create additional fuel reserves in preparation for the new heating season.

Free passport issuance has been launched for orphans and children deprived of parental care living abroad.
The relevant packages of documents have already been prepared for children from institutions displaced from Dnipropetrovska and Donetska oblasts and the city of Kyiv. Other regions are also actively cooperating with diplomatic missions in the host countries.

The procedure for the construction of artesian wells for healthcare facilities in Kharkiv region has been simplified.
A draft resolution was developed at the initiative of Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk following her working visit to Kharkiv region. The document proposes to include Kharkiv region in the pilot water supply project already operating in Dnipro, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv regions.

Amendments to the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 930 of 1 September 2023 ‘Some Issues of Functioning of Temporary Accommodation for Internally Displaced Persons’ improved the regime of functioning of temporary accommodation for IDPs.
The draft resolution was developed by the Ministry of Reintegration. The changes include a number of innovations that will help protect the rights of internally displaced persons.

Humanitarian response in the Kharkiv region: life support, fuel limits and a simplified mechanism for unblocking tax invoices of companies operating in the de-occupied territories of the region.
These and other topics were discussed at an interagency meeting chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.

Certain issues related to the payment of financial compensation for housing to certain categories of veterans and their families have been resolved.

The exchange of prisoners of war took place. Among those released are 70 men and one woman. Another 4 women released from captivity are civilians.
The exchange took place on the instructions of the President of Ukraine with the joint efforts of the Office of the President, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Reintegration and other agencies. In total, 3,210 Ukrainian defenders have been released from captivity.
