Highlights of the week June 3 – June 9

The government is collecting data on the solid fuel needs of vulnerable populations in the frontline regions for the next winter.

The Government adopts a decision extending the pilot project that allows the State Enterprise “Document” to accept applications for issuing documents abroad.

Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk awarded the Cabinet of Ministers’ Certificate of Honor to UN Resident Coordinator in Ukraine Denise Brown for her outstanding services to the Ukrainian people.

The Ministry of Reintegration signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Alliance of Ukrainian Civil Society Organizations.

Due to the security situation, a decision was made to forcibly evacuate children  from seven settlements in Donetsk region.

The sixteenth selection of IDP families to receive preferential loans at 3% per annum was held. Another 600 families will be able to take out a loan under the Ukrainian-German program “Housing for Internally Displaced Persons”.

The government has allocated over UAH 63 million in compensation for free accommodation of IDPs in institutions.

The issue of blocking tax invoices in the frontline areas has been resolved.

Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk made a working trip to Vinnytsia region. There, she took part in the “Communities for Veterans” event, where they discussed veterans’ policy. She also visited  a local veteran’s hub and a facility for internally displaced persons with limited mobility. She participated in an expanded meeting of the regional Coordination Center for Civilian Support.
