Rivne region receives another evacuation train from Donetsk region

As a result, another 30 people were evacuated to a safe region, including 12 children and one person with reduced mobility.

In the Rivne region, the evacuees were provided with

  • medical support (ambulances were on duty at the site);
  • assistance with accommodation in host communities;
  • financial assistance in the amount of UAH 3,600 to each evacuee.

NGOs and charitable foundations provided the displaced with hot drinks, food boxes, hygiene kits, as well as psychological and legal assistance. These are the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, the Integration Centre, the Rockada Charity Foundation, the Day Centre for Social and Psychological Assistance, and the Right to Protection Charity Foundation.

The readiness of Rivne Oblast to receive evacuated residents of Donetsk Oblast was discussed at the Evacuation Coordination Centre chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.
