Evacuation work continues in dangerous areas of the frontline territories

Today, a regular weekly meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for Evacuation was held under the chairmanship of Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk. They discussed current issues of evacuating citizens from the danger zones of the frontline territories.

Particular attention is paid to vulnerable groups: children, the elderly, people with disabilities and the sick. They are evacuated first. Evacuation to a safe region is free of charge.

Local authorities are actively cooperating with Ukrainian and international humanitarian organizations in the evacuation efforts. Joint efforts are aimed at rapid planning, organizing safe routes and providing the necessary support to evacuees.

All evacuees are offered

  • free accommodation in places of compact residence;
  • state assistance for accommodation;
  • a one-time payment to evacuees who left by free transportation;
  • humanitarian, psychological and medical assistance, etc.

We remind you that for more information on the evacuation, everyone should contact their regional military administration.
