Ninth evacuation train from Donetsk region arrives in Rivne region

Another 46 people (29 families), including 6 children, 17 women (1 pregnant), 4 people with reduced mobility, and 2 people with disabilities, were evacuated to a safe region from Donetsk Oblast.

A reception centre was set up at the railway station. Employees of the State Emergency Service and the police helped evacuees get off the train and carry their belongings, and ambulances provided medical support.

Internally displaced people were able to receive lunch boxes with hot drinks and hygiene kits, as well as psychological and legal assistance. This was made possible through cooperation with public foundations such as the Red Cross, the Integration Centre, the Rockada Charitable Foundation, the Day Centre for Social and Psychological Assistance and the Right to Protection Charitable Foundation.

Upon arrival, the IDPs received evacuation payments and were accommodated in host communities.
