Highlights for the week of July 22 – July 28

This week, Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk paid a working visit to a number of regions.

As part of her visit to the frontline Kherson region, Iryna Vereshchuk held an expanded meeting of the Coordination Center for Civilian Support at the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

Deputy Prime Minister in Mykolaiv region:

-visited a humanitarian hub to help people who were forced to leave the Kherson region;

-held an expanded meeting of the Coordination Center for Civilian Support at the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration;

-visited one of the facilities where veterans, military personnel and their families, as well as family members of fallen soldiers, undergo rehabilitation.

As part of her trip to Kryvyi Rih, Iryna Vereshchuk visited:

-A medical rehabilitation center for veterans in a city hospital in Kryvyi Rih;

-Humanitarian hub for IDPs “With Bakhmut in our hearts”;

-The Cardiology Center was renovated and equipped with funds from the German Government;

-The municipal non-profit enterprise “Service Office ‘Veteran’, which was established by the Kryvyi Rih City Council. The institution will start serving veterans in the near future;

-The “I-Veteran” office, which operates on the basis of the “Visa” Administrative Services Center;

-A team to provide mobile administrative services;

One of the sports facilities that provides sports rehabilitation for veterans.

It also held a meeting on veterans’ policy.

A state project has been launched to exchange convicted collaborators for captured Ukrainian defenders. It will facilitate the return of Ukrainians from Russian captivity.

The range of persons who can file a claim for damage to housing with the International Register of Damage has been expanded.
