Employees of the cultural and information spheres will be able to join the personnel reserve for work at the DOT

Today, the Government has adopted a resolution “On Approval of the Procedure for Creating a Reserve of Employees of the Culture and Information Sector to Work in the De-occupied Territories of Ukraine”.

The draft act was developed pursuant to the order of Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk following a meeting on creating a reserve of employees of state and law enforcement agencies to work in the DOT. The issue has also been repeatedly discussed at meetings of the Coordination Headquarters for the State Protected Areas chaired by the Vice Prime Minister.

The document defines

  • the procedure for forming a personnel reserve, processing personal data of persons who have expressed a desire to be included in the reserve;
  • the procedure for providing institutions, organizations, cultural and information sector enterprises that have resumed work in the de-occupied territories with qualified personnel.

The reserve will be formed electronically by entering information about applicants into the information and communication system “Reserve of Cultural and Information Workers for Work in the De-occupied Territories of Ukraine”.

The implementation of the act will contribute to:

  • restoration of the culture and information sphere in the DOT;
  • prompt staffing of institutions, organizations, enterprises in this area that resume their work in the DOT;
  • employment of employees who lost their jobs due to the hostilities;
  • returning IDPs to the de-occupied territories and providing them with jobs.

The Ministry of Reintegration expresses its gratitude to the ICIP team that drafted this resolution for their fruitful work, which will accelerate Ukraine’s recovery.
