The issue of providing such communities with humanitarian aid from international organizations was the main topic of discussion during the special meeting.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Reintegration, Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia, Kirovohrad, Volyn, Dnipro, Khmelnytskyi, Poltava and Poltava regional administrations.
Also invited were representatives of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Ukraine (UNHCR), the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Ukraine (OCHA), the International Committee of the Red Cross in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, the International Organization for Migration in Ukraine, and other international and non-governmental organizations.
The discussion focused on the interaction of donors with communities to better identify the needs of evacuees staying in temporary accommodation centers (TACs) and meet them in a timely manner.
In addition, the participants heard from representatives of regional military administrations where the evacuated population is located.
They reported on their work with international organizations and outlined existing humanitarian needs. In particular, the need to provide ICC with food packages.
