Residents of Donetsk region leave for safe regions: evacuation continues

The mandatory evacuation from Donetsk Oblast has been going on since August 2022. Over 277,000 people have been displaced from the region since then. Among them are more than 32,000 children and more than 8,000 people with disabilities.

The evacuation is carried out by rail and road. If necessary, special vehicles are used.

Upon arrival, the evacuees are provided with humanitarian, legal and psychological assistance and free housing.

Families with children additionally receive financial assistance in the amount of UAH 10,800 per person from UNICEF and the Charity Organization “Charity Foundation ‘Angels of Salvation’.
