A new shelter for temporary accommodation of people who lost their homes due to the war has been opened in Dobromyl, Lviv Oblast. The facility is designed to accommodate 192 internally displaced persons.
This is stated on the website of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.
The new shelter for internally displaced persons is located in the former administrative building of the Nizhankovytske vocational lyceum.
Before that, the building underwent major repairs: the roof and windows were replaced, and the heating and drainage systems were updated. The necessary household equipment for comfortable living was also purchased.
The building was renovated as part of the Shelter Plus project initiated by the Ukrainian Red Cross in cooperation with the Austrian Red Cross, local authorities and the Lviv Regional Military Administration.
