This refers to those internally displaced persons who were registered before February 24, 2022.
Identification is required to confirm that the person for whom the payments are intended receives the payments from the state.
The identity verification procedure can be completed in several ways:
- at an Oschadbank branch;
- at the territorial offices of the Pension Fund of Ukraine;
- via video conferencing with the Pension Fund of Ukraine;
- through a personal electronic account on the Pension Fund’s web portal;
- at a foreign diplomatic mission to obtain a certificate of the fact that the person is alive. These documents must then be submitted to the Pension Fund office where the pensioner is registered.
It is worth noting that the Pension Fund and other agencies exchange electronic documents. This allows the Pension Fund service centers to accept an e-passport (ID card) for personal identification, which is displayed in the Diia application.
