The initiative, which is being implemented by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) together with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), aims to support people in difficult life circumstances and to restore communities. This is stated on the IOM website.
The project is designed for 3 years. Over 40 thousand people are expected to receive assistance during this time.
Within its framework, material and technical assistance for recovery will be provided to 24 communities in Chernihiv, Kyiv, Kharkiv and Dnipro regions.
In addition, special attention will be paid to vulnerable groups.
The total budget of the project is USD 8.52 million.
The initiative will be implemented in cooperation with the Government of Ukraine, in particular the Ministry of Social Policy and the Ministry of Reconstruction.
