The project aims to support families of internally displaced persons in host communities for 6 months. The Right to Protection Charitable Foundation is collecting data for financial assistance in 2024 with the support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine (UHF). This is stated on the website of the charitable foundation.
The assistance will be available to families of internally displaced persons who were forced to move after February 24, 2022 and have not yet received targeted financial assistance for rent from international organizations. They also belong to one of the following categories of people:
- IDPs living in Temporary Accommodation Centers (TACs) who are able to pay private rent after the program expires.
- IDPs living in TACs under the threat of eviction (especially in schools and kindergartens).
- IDPs living in rented housing are under the threat of eviction and have no alternative but to move to the ICC.
- Newly arrived IDPs (up to one year) who do not wish to reside in the MCC.
Applicants for the program must also meet at least one of the vulnerability criteria, which can be found here.
All target groups must be able to pay private rent at the end of the support period. The household must also be able to find a rental property and pay the first 2 months of rent.
