International partners provide solid fuel to families in frontline communities of Sumy region

Families with children living within 30 kilometers of the front line in Sumy region are receiving assistance from UNICEF in the form of wooden briquettes for household heating.

This was reported by UNICEF on its page on the social network X.

The international donor plans to provide 2,200 households in Sumy region with solid fuel and about 4,500 more households with funds for utilities.

It should be noted that financial support for Ukrainian families with children living in the frontline areas is a joint project of the Ministry of Reintegration and UNICEF.

It provides for the payment of UAH 21,800 to vulnerable categories of families with children living near the front line (up to 30 kilometers) in Dnipro, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia regions.

The funds will help families prepare for the winter, including heating.
