People are being evacuated from the settlements of Kupiansk, Kindrashiv, Kuryliv and Petropavlivka communities in Kharkiv region.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
This weekend, rescuers carried out evacuation activities in the village of Kurylivka, the village of Kivsharivka and the city of Kupyansk. Armored vehicles were used to ensure safety during the evacuation.
Most of the people who needed help were the elderly and people with disabilities.
The evacuation process was organized by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration in cooperation with the National Police, the State Emergency Service, local authorities and volunteers.
All evacuees are first sent to intermediate evacuation centers located in safe places.
