IDPs from five regions can get a grant for education

Individuals who want to improve their skills or learn a new profession but are unable to finance their studies on their own are invited to participate in the grant competition. The winners will receive a grant of up to $700 for vocational training.

This is stated on the Facebook page of the competition organizer, the Danish Refugee Council (DRC).

The competition is open to residents of Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.

Preference in the selection will be given to the following categories of population

– internally displaced persons

– single fathers or mothers;

– pregnant women, women who are breastfeeding (or persons living with such a person);

– people with disabilities or chronic illnesses (or people living with such people).

Under the terms of the program, the winner will have to choose a training course at their own discretion, taking into account the following criteria

– the program’s relevance to the current needs of the local labor market;

– the duration of the course should not exceed 6 months, and it should be completed by June 2025.
