Restoration of critical infrastructure damaged by Russian attacks continues

After another massive shelling, the situation in some regions remains difficult. During a meeting of the Headquarters for the preparation of housing and communal services and energy for the autumn-winter period, the heads of the regional administrations and heads of communities reported on the progress of restoration work and elimination of the consequences.

This was reported by Tymur Tkachenko, Deputy Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, in his telegram channel.

In particular, in Ivano-Frankivsk region, restoration work continues after yesterday’s attack, and the situation remains under control.

In Odesa region, water and heat supply is being restored, and reconnection to backup energy sources is underway. At the same time, hospitals and other social institutions are operating on generators.

There are currently 445 “Points of Unbreakability” in the city, and their number may be increased depending on the circumstances.

Work is ongoing to ensure the stability of the power system and the life of communities even in the face of constant hostile attacks.
