In the Barvinkivska and Lozivska communities of the Kharkiv region, philanthropists have opened spaces to help internally displaced persons (IDPs) and local residents.
This is reported on the Facebook page of the Light of Hope charitable organization.
The newly created Mental Hub centers will provide a wide range of services aimed at recovery and social adaptation, including
- case management by social workers to address individual needs;
- individual and group counseling by a psychologist;
- trainings on personal growth with the participation of coaches;
- work with children.
The centers were created as part of the project “Intersectoral Emergency Response to Protection, Health and Gender-Based Violence for Conflict-Affected Persons in Kherson and Kharkiv Regions”.
The project is being implemented by the Light of Hope charitable organization with the support of the Humanitarian Foundation for Ukraine (UHF) and the humanitarian organization Intersos.
