Ukraine is launching a grant competition for NGOs and charities to support initiatives related to shelter and protection of IDPs, housing reconstruction, and other humanitarian needs.
The competition is open to NGOs and charities registered in Ukraine and operating in Kharkiv, Poltava and Dnipro regions.
Grants will be awarded for the following purposes
- modernisation of places intended for IDPs;
- repair of housing (including houses and apartments with light and medium damage);
- minor repairs to public infrastructure, as well as the modernisation/equipment of bomb shelters.
Approximately 38 grants of UAH 280,000 each will be awarded under the competition.
The application deadline is 14 July 2024 inclusive.
Project proposals for participation in the competition are to be made in Ukrainian. They, along with all the necessary attachments, should be sent to the following email address: [email protected].
In the subject line of the email, be sure to indicate that this is a project application and the name of your organisation to participate in the grant competition within the project “Support for Community Recovery in Eastern Ukraine”.
The project is implemented by Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation with the support of Switzerland and funding from Swiss Solidarity.
