It was created to help internally displaced persons in Lviv feel more comfortable in their new home and integrate into the community. This was reported on the Facebook page of the charity fund “Your support”.
The project to equip the integration hub is being implemented by the international humanitarian organization CORE with the support of the American Red Cross.
At the hub, adults and children affected by Russian aggression can receive the following services
- individual and group psychological counseling for IDP families
- social and psychological support;
- self-help groups for IDPs trying to overcome addictions;
- creative workshops;
- computer courses for adults;
- robotics classes for children;
- HR support and job search assistance.
The center also employs professional educators. Therefore, if necessary, parents can leave their children here (up to 3 hours).
The Tvoia Opora Integration Hub operates in Lviv at the IDP shelter at 5 Drohobycha Street.
