It is about compensation for utilities consumed during the free stay of internally displaced persons in the premises of state, municipal and private property. The decision was made at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The document provides for the allocation of more than UAH 156.6 million from the state budget reserve fund to the relevant institutions to cover utility costs for October – December 2023. The funds will be allocated as follows:
- More than UAH 23 million to pay compensation to state-owned institutions under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Industrial Policy, and the Ministry of Social Policy.
- More than UAH 129.1 million was allocated to municipal institutions, state educational institutions transferred to local budgets, and jointly owned institutions of territorial communities of the region and district managed by regional and district councils.
The Ministry of Reintegration will provide this additional subsidy from the state budget to local budgets according to the approved distribution between regional budgets.
- More than UAH 4.4 million will be allocated to private institutions (except for private educational institutions).
The Ministry of Reintegration is grateful to the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Finance for their cooperation in implementing the state policy on support of internally displaced persons.
