What to do if you hear an air raid alarm

We would like to remind you of the rules of behaviour during an air raid to protect yourself and your loved ones.

If you hear sirens while you are outside

  • quickly go to the nearest shelter (underpass, metro station, car park or bomb shelter);
  • stay away from buildings of strategic importance or critical infrastructure.

If you hear sirens while you are at home

  • switch off all electrical appliances, turn off the gas and, if available, extinguish open sources of fire (stoves, stoves, fireplaces);
  • leave the premises quickly and go to the nearest shelter;
  • do not use lifts during the air raid. Go down the stairs only;
  • if there is no reliable shelter nearby, stay at home and choose a safe place in accordance with the two-wall rule. Stay away from windows!
