The government will compensate farmers for 100% of the cost of demining de-occupied land. The state budget allocates UAH 3 billion for the programme.
The National Institute of Housing has been established in Ukraine. It was established by the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) with the support of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The Institute will support the efforts of the Government of Ukraine and its partners to increase the number of affordable housing units for internally displaced persons and people whose homes were damaged or destroyed as a result of the war.
The government has allocated another UAH 21 million for compensation for free accommodation of IDPs in institutions. This refers to compensation for utilities consumed during the free stay of internally displaced persons in the premises of state, municipal and private property.
The government has adopted an action plan to restore education in the de-occupied territories until 2027. Its provisions were discussed at meetings of the Coordination Headquarters for the DOTs. It envisages the formation of a network of educational institutions, a personnel reserve, provision of educational materials, making up for educational losses during the temporary occupation, etc.
