War-affected households can get help from the Estonian Refugee Council

Thus, under the Emergency Livelihoods Support Programme, households in three regions can receive subsidies to start or resume economic activity. This is reported on the organisation’s website.

Residents of the following communities can apply for the programme:

  • Shyrokivska and Novomykolaivska in Zaporizhzhia Oblast;
  • Bereznehuvata and Kazankivka communities in Mykolaiv region;
  • Shevchenkivska and Slobozhanska in Kharkiv Oblast.

They will be able to receive between UAH 23,500 and 33,000 depending on their activities. The assistance will be transferred to the specified bank account.

Grant support is provided to launch or restore the following types of business activities: livestock, dairy production, poultry, gardening, beekeeping, etc.
