Government expands network of Civilian Support Coordination Centres

This refers to amendments to Resolution No. 470 of 9 May 2023, which were adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers today.

They provide for the establishment of Coordination Centres for Civilian Support not only at the regional and Kyiv city military administrations, but also at the district military administrations.

In addition, the Coordination Centre will now include regional coordinators of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Programme in Ukraine.

The document also provides for the possibility of creating working groups at the Coordination Centres. Their personnel will be approved by an order of the head of the military administration.

Such changes will optimise the functioning of the Coordination Centres and facilitate more effective interaction with executive authorities, law enforcement and other state bodies, local governments, volunteer and public associations, and representative offices of international humanitarian organisations in Ukraine. In particular, to address issues of social protection, housing and employment, psychosocial, medical and legal assistance to the affected population.

In 2023, a network of 996 Coordination Centres at various levels was established at the initiative of the Ministry of Reintegration. Their activities are aimed at coordinating the provision of assistance to the affected population, including IDPs, veterans and their families, children, and the elderly.
