A department for IDPs was opened in a geriatric nursing home in Ternopil region

A department for internally displaced persons has been opened in the Petrykivka Geriatric Nursing Home. This is reported on the website of the Ternopil Regional Administration.

Currently, 23 internally displaced persons live in the department.

The premises are equipped with rooms with 27 beds, a kitchen and a laundry room. Each room has its own shower and bathroom.

In total, 175 people live in the Petrykivka geriatric nursing home, 40 of whom are IDPs.

The unit was opened as part of a joint project with the Swiss Red Cross.
