This was discussed at a regular meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for the mandatory evacuation of the population under martial law chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.
On March 23, the free evacuation train from Pokrovsk changed its destination. Previously it ran to Zhytomyr region, but now evacuees will arrive in Volyn and Rivne regions.
There, internally displaced persons will be placed in places of safe stay. They will be provided with financial, humanitarian, psychological and medical assistance.
Currently, places to accommodate more than 1,200 IDPs have been identified in these regions.
At the railway stations where the evacuation train will arrive, reception centers or hubs will be set up where IDPs will be able to find out all the necessary information.
