This was reported at a weekly meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for Ensuring the Rights and Freedoms of Internally Displaced Persons chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.
The total number of temporary accommodation facilities (TACs) currently stands at 1,038.
Their number has increased in the following regions:
- Dnipro – 68,
- Ivano-Frankivsk – 12,
- Ternopil – 8,
- Kharkiv – 5,
- Zakarpattia – 4,
- Sumy – 1,
- Cherkasy – 1.
In total, the number of beds for internally displaced persons increased by 4,493. As of 11 April, 20,752 beds were available.
It is worth reminding that the Ministry of Reintegration forms the ICC list of internally displaced persons in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 930 of 1 September 2023, which approved the Procedure for the functioning of temporary accommodation for IDPs.
The resolution was developed by the Ministry of Reintegration on behalf of Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal to implement the State Policy Strategy on Internal Displacement until 2025.
