This refers to the monthly state housing allowance for internally displaced persons, which amounts to UAH 3,000 for people with disabilities and children and UAH 2,000 for everyone else.
This issue was discussed at a meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for Ensuring the Realization of the Rights and Freedoms of IDPs chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.
Thus, the state housing allowance has been paid to IDPs in April. In total, almost 1 million internally displaced persons received housing allowances last month in the amount of UAH 2.6 billion.
It is worth noting that the number of IDPs who will receive the payment will increase, as some applications for the extension of payments are still being processed.
It is worth reminding that since the beginning of 2024, payments to IDPs have already been financed in the total amount of UAH 16 billion.
