A total of 4 evacuation flights to Rivne region are planned: 3, 11, 19 and 27 June. This was discussed at a meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for the mandatory evacuation of the population under martial law chaired by Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk last week.
A representative of the Rivne Regional Military Administration said that they have about 270 free places for evacuees in temporary accommodation centres. In case of a shortage of these places, the register of private housing will be used. Also, 2 premises for family-type orphanages have been arranged in the region.
Iryna Vereshchuk asked UNICEF representatives to support the children who will be evacuated and to establish communication with the UMA.
‘It is important that the places where the evacuated population is to be accommodated have proper social infrastructure. People should also understand that they will be provided with all the necessary assistance and support at the new location,’ the Vice Prime Minister stressed.
