In the temporarily occupied territories, the Russian occupation authorities are trying to lure Ukrainian citizens to return to the TOT.
In particular, the occupiers are spreading information that property owners must return to the TOT to confirm their property rights. Otherwise, the occupiers threaten to deprive people of their property rights.
The Ministry of Reintegration recommends refraining from travelling to the TOT. Do not give in to threats. Contacts with the occupation authorities are dangerous.
We emphasise that any actions, documents or demands of the occupation authorities in the TOT are illegal and have no legal consequences. The property of Ukrainian citizens in the TOT is protected by the laws of Ukraine and international law.
Persons involved in depriving Ukrainians of their property in the TOT will be held criminally liable and will have to compensate for all losses.
