The status of the project to improve the living conditions of IDPs was discussed at the offsite meeting

In Irpin, Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk held an on-site meeting on the status of the international technical assistance project “Improving the Housing Conditions of IDPs”.

The project is being implemented with the financial support of the German government through the KfW and with the assistance of the Ministry of Reintegration. The project is implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

The project envisages the reconstruction of houses destroyed by the hostilities and the construction of new housing facilities in five regions of Ukraine.

In addition to Kyiv, the participants discussed the construction process and details of the project in Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, and Chernivtsi regions.

“We are working to ensure that the process of housing construction and reconstruction takes place in accordance with the established deadlines. Therefore, we will jointly coordinate all processes, control each stage of work to ensure the timely completion of these projects,” said Iryna Vereshchuk.
