Keeping up with Ukrainian news: a secure service has been created for Ukrainians in the TOT

It is called “You are in Ukraine”. The service includes a free VPN and a special browser for residents of the temporarily occupied territories (TOT).

This is reported by the telegram channel of the resistance movement in the TOT “Yellow Ribbon”.

The purpose of the service is to help residents of the TOT keep abreast of Ukrainian news even when the occupiers block the Internet or Ukrainian sites. The platform was launched with the support of the Yellow Ribbon resistance movement and Dovidka.info.

The service also offers useful tips on where to read Ukrainian news, how to counter Russian propaganda, and how to help the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

To use the service, you need to:

  1. Go to the website here.
  2. Fill out a short form.
  3. Wait for confirmation and receive instructions on how to connect to the VPN and use a secure browser that works in the TOT.
