Another 15 community projects will receive funding under the Ukraine Recovery Program (URP III)

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the redistribution of subsidies from the state budget to finance 15 additional projects in nine regions of Ukraine.

These include 11 projects to restore water supply and sanitation, as well as 4 projects to restore healthcare facilities in the Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernivtsi, Lviv, Ternopil, and Kherson regions.

This year, Ukraine’s state budget is allocating UAH 1 billion in subsidies to finance development projects. Thanks to the latest changes, the number of projects receiving state support has increased from 106 to 121.

This funding is provided under the Ukraine Recovery Program III, which is being implemented jointly with the European Investment Bank (EIB). The overall agreement for €100 million, signed and ratified in 2024, provides for the provision of funds to communities on a non-repayable basis through a subsidy from the state budget.

It should be noted that currently, a total of 130 projects with a total estimated cost of approximately UAH 4.7 billion have been approved for implementation under the Program. The transparency and prioritization of these initiatives is ensured through the DREAM digital ecosystem, where communities submitted their applications.
