Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk chaired a regular meeting on housing for internally displaced persons.
A number of draft amendments to bylaws were discussed.
In particular, they reviewed the status of preparation of a draft resolution on remote inspection of destroyed property in the TOT, territories of active hostilities, as well as in territories of active hostilities where state electronic information resources operate. The draft act is currently with the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers and is awaiting review by a government committee.
The participants also considered the need to amend the Procedure for Providing Compensation for Damaged or Destroyed Property. It is proposed to provide citizens with the opportunity to re-apply for compensation under the eRestoration programme if they cannot use the compensation received as a result of the first application.
They discussed amendments to the checklist for determining the amount of compensation for the restoration of damaged real estate, approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 381 (eVodnovnennya), to revise the average cost of repair work.
In addition, they considered possible changes to the procedure for the functioning of the Register of Damaged and Destroyed Property. They provide for the possibility of filing an application for compensation for destroyed or damaged property without the consent of the co-owner.
