Vulnerable categories of IDPs living in a number of communities in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Dnipro oblasts can receive cash payments to compensate for heat supply payments as part of the Winterization project 2024-2025.
This is stated on the Facebook page of the charity foundation ‘Smile of the South Africa’.
IDPs residing in Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Bilozerska and Dobropilska communities in Donetsk region, as well as in Apostolivska and Zelenodolska communities in Dnipropetrovska region, can register for this assistance.
In addition, they must belong to one of the following vulnerability categories:
- Single heads of households and/or women who are the main caregivers in the family.
- Persons with disabilities.
- Elderly people (60+).
- Families with three or more children (up to 18 years of age or up to 23 years of age if they are studying).
- Persons with chronic illnesses and serious diseases (including mental disorders).
- Households that include a person who has lost their job since February 2022.
- Households registered with a territorial social service centre.
