In particular, the Healthy Family Medical Center and the DoVira Social Rehabilitation Center for internally displaced persons and the elderly have been opened.
This was reported by the Poltava City Council.
The DoVira center provides a wide range of free services: hot meals, hygiene products, psychological support, rehabilitation, social and legal support, leisure and educational activities.
The facility also has a salt room and a canteen, where meals are provided daily for the most vulnerable categories of local residents and IDPs.
A medical center has been opened in the same building. Here, services are provided free of charge after signing a declaration with a family doctor. These include consultations, screening, diagnostics, laboratory tests and physiotherapy.
The projects operate under the auspices of Caritas Poltava. They were opened with the financial support of the Dutch organization Cordaid, Caritas Luxembourg and Caritas Austria.
