In Ukraine, more than 1700 children are missing due to the war

Such data is contained in the Unified Register of Persons Missing in Special Circumstances. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Tymchenko.

Specialized centers operate throughout the country to search for them. They operate at the Main Departments of the National Police in regional centers. Here, investigators and criminal investigation officers cooperate with the Commissioners for Missing Persons and, if necessary, with representatives of the Security Service.

Citizens searching for their missing loved ones are advised to contact the nearest Main Department of the National Police or the hotline at 0 800 103 333.
