The Ministry of Development has allocated another UAH 2 billion to pay compensation to IDPs

The Ministry of Communities and Territories Development has received a new UAH 2 billion as part of the eRestore programme of compensation for lost housing for IDPs. The funding was immediately used to pay out housing certificates to more than 1,300 IDP families. They will now be able to buy new homes.

These are additional funds allocated from the 15 billion hryvnias that the Government reallocated to support compensation for IDPs under eRestoration at the end of last year.

In total, in just over a month of the programme’s operation, IDP families have already purchased more than 1,700 new homes.

We would like to remind you of the conditions of participation in the programme:

You must have a valid IDP certificate. If you do not have one, you can get one through: ASC, mobile application or Diia portal, executive bodies of village, town and city councils.

IDP status can be obtained even if the displacement took place within the same community.

Destroyed housing must be located in government-controlled territory or in the area of active hostilities.

The destroyed dwelling was the only dwelling owned by the citizen.
