International partners to rebuild 11 educational institutions affected by war

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine has launched a project called “Rebuilding Schools in War-Affected Regions” with the financial support of the German Government. This is stated on the UNDP website.

As part of the project, the partners plan to restore classrooms and other premises damaged by enemy shelling in educational institutions in Kirovohrad, Lviv, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi, and Cherkasy regions. Attention will also be paid to energy efficiency and decoration.

In addition, the initiative provides schools with the necessary furniture, such as blackboards, desks, chairs, and bookcases.

The project is expected to enable more than 6,000 students and half a thousand teachers to return to live learning in a comfortable and safe environment.
